Re Alex Galler Memorial Game June 10, 2026
I want to thank everyone who attended. Alex would have been so pleased, and he would have also enjoyed it.
I also appreciated all the communications received from our members that due to many different circumstances were unable to attend but expressed memories etc.
Special thanks to Doug Fisher for MCing and Dave West for organizing and directing our wonderful turnout of 23 tables.
Thanks to everyone who assisted. I had so much help, there are too many to name individually, but you know who you are. This included setting up, cleanup, providing veggie rolls & dip, and baking wonderful desserts and the beautiful flowers. Our nieces and nephew (who do not play bridge) jumped in to assist as a tribute to their uncle.
They told me they were very impressed with our event.
The Heart & Stroke Charity benefited from very generous contributions received at the game $1,442.00. In addition, many other donations have been forwarded directly by our members and our family. Alex benefited for many years with super heart care, so this charity is important to our family.
I really appreciated all the memories shared with me.
