MINUTES OF MEETING FEBRUARY 3, 2023

Memorial Games policy as written will be implemented when next a game is requested
1. Minutes of Meeting January 9, 2023, item 8 Virtual Games amended to read to pull out of some games effective Feb and our Friday game will continue under Units Virtual ID approved as amended. Moved by Deloris Ankrom, Seconded Dave West Carried
2. Spring Sectional Paulette joined our meeting. Dates of April 21-22 2023 set Friday Pair events Swiss Teams on Saturday. All information will be available on the web site. Programs will be available shortly
3. Social Event Festival de Bridge Date February 23, 2023, Thursday evening. Dinner will be catered. Tickets are available from Club Directors.
4. Financial Report awaiting final reports of games etc for 2022 then will produce a financial report. Funds will be invested in a GIC
5. Learn how to Play Bridge another session is planned for April 1, 2023.John and Marielle will present, brochures are ready for distribution.
6. Beginner Lessons by Jim and Keran will commence April 8,
Intermediate lessons by Bill ill commence April or May 2023
7. Virtual Games Only one game Friday is being run by the Unit. There will be an email promoting this game sent out this week.
8. Mentorship Report deferred to next meeting.
9. Vaccine mandate. In view of our recent survey, we will continue to require proof of vaccine for club games and tournaments.
10. Supervised Play continues on Tuesday Evening. Average of 6 tables are attending.
11. Donation of Boards and Bidding Boxes received from Fort Rouge Centre has been picked up by the original club who owned these. We received these in error.
12. Next meeting Monday March 13, 2023 4.00 PM via Zoom
