MINUTES OF MEETING APRIL 6, 2026

Vice President Dave West called to order at 4.01 P M President Ray Hornby took over at 4.15 P M.
• Minutes of Meeting February 23, 2026, approved as posted. Moved by Barb Parke, Seconded Murray Singer Carried.
• Financial Report Ray Hornby has taken over the Treasurer duties. We are continuing to be above breakeven in current operations for the year 2026. Bob Neudorf will present the 2025 Financials at the AGM
• Learn to Play Bridge in a Day held Feb 28, 2026, was very well presented, and well received by 49 attendees. Thanks again John and Marielle
• Supervised Play has seen a decline in attendance, but the Intermediate Game continues to grow.
• Beginner Lessons by Jim and Keran will commence March 8, 2026, and run for 9 weeks
• Intermediate lessons and Play of the Hand will be offered by Bill and Dennis
• April Sectional April 23-25, 2026, on track brochures are available 5 sessions Pairs games Thursday single sessions Morning and Afternoon. One session Friday Morning, 2 session Swiss teams Saturday Morning and Afternoon.
• Spring Fling March 21, 2025. Leslie Speirs Chairied the event. .24 tables played Bridge, enjoyed a delicious dinner an enjoyable time was had by all. Thanks to all the volunteers who assisted making this event a success.
• Rookie Master Game Monday April 13, 2026. Monday evening at Soul Sanctuary, contact is Dave West
• Regional Tournament October 14-17, 2026, Barb Parke chairing. ACBL director has been assigned. Brochures available shortly.
• AGM June 6, 2026, information will appear on the web site.
• On agenda next meeting Purchase equipment, remotes, chairs, tables.
• Next Meeting Monday May 11, 2026, 4.00 PM via Zoom.
