KENNETH (KEN) GEORGE SIRED On Thursday, January 4, 2018 Ken passed peacefully at the age of 64 years, with Marie by his side. Ken will be missed by his partner Marie (Hawash) and her children, Hassan (Soha), Yussef (Stacy), Omar (Maeve) and grandchildren; father George Sired; brothers, David (Betty), John (Lil); sisters, Anne (Bruce) and Carol (Paul) and numerous nieces and nephews. Together, Ken and Marie shared a contented home which included family and grandchildren. Together they enjoyed travelling, playing games and swimming. Ken was especially proud of his garden. Earlier in his life, he enjoyed yoga, meditation, playing the guitar and later took up the piano. Ken was loved by all. He was a sweet natured man and known for his quick wit. Many will know of him as a brilliant gamer. He will be missed by the bridge community and many special friends. A celebration of Ken's life will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 426 Osborne Street.
