We need a new Fridge for the facility, Ray Hornby will check prices. We will contact Hydro on removing the old one and receive their rebate. Board is happy with the new cleaning arrangements.
There are still areas of operation that need to be ironed out. Timing of Lessons and any proposals for giving lessons must be passed on to the committee for approval.

6. Dave West has volunteered to handle communications and up date the calendar on the Web Site. This will also include the weekly news letter sent to our members. There was discussion on getting into the loop the new people taking lessons to keep them informed, and also with the possibility of sending them a welcome them to our exciting game. John Hindle will approach the Teachers to attain this list. This letter would also inform them of the ACBL website availability.

7. Bridge Week 2017. Still require a Chair. Doug Fisher will approach some of the suggestions made.

8. Equipment, Maintenance and Replacement costs. This is quite a concern for the Board. We are currently providing all of our equipment for usage with the private clubs and have included all this in their $10.00 per table charge for the facility. Also all supplies are currently being covered by the Unit. Costs will be reviewed and brought forward to the next meeting. We have 6 months of operations now to assess and can get a better handle on our costs. Remember we jumped into all of this very quickly to enable our members to have a facility for all aspects of Bridge and the Unit at the moment is barely covering costs. A motion for adding a Common Cost fee will be brought forth at the next meeting.

9. Special Games All special games sanctions will be applied for If the special falls on a Clubs regular game time they will be given first choice to run or not. The Unit intends to pick up any slack.
All clubs can run a Club Championship game once a Quarter for every session they have. Our Unit 181 run games will do this. The suggestion was having one a month example Jan Sunday Feb Wed Mar Fri etc.
In addition to all this District 2 Stac games have been researched, and they have 2 scheduled. May 4-10 and October 26-November 1. The CBF are running a Canada Wide Stac Feb 16-22,2015 and all clubs will be encouraged to apply for these sanctions.
